First select on what type of disc you want to burn, whether it is for backing up files or listening to music. For backing files, you need to choose a data CD or DVD. For a regular CD player use audio CD and for MP3 CD players use MP3 CD. Burning to regular audio CD is making audio tracks that play on regular players. To adjust the volume levels of the albums to a particular level, mark ‘use sound check’. Then ‘ok’. Select the play list, which you want to burn on to the CD. After selecting the play list, click the ‘burn disc’ button on the upper right corner. Your disc drive will open, insert your disc, click the ‘burn disc’ button again, and start burning. You can also select the speed of burning and try to keep it to the maximum level. This may take several minutes. After the burning is complete, in the ‘source’ column you will find the name (same as what you have saved) of your disc with a disc icon beside it. Click that and press eject.
For gap between the songs you need to select the number of seconds, you want to have between your tracks. If you want to cancel, the burn then click ‘x’ that appears on the process bar while burning and note that the cancelled disc cannot be used after canceling.
Always update the ‘date’ for each burning in the smart list, as the ‘date’ is your back up element.
